Jazz Fest 2014

 KTS unfurled the flag and handed out bracelets to raise awareness of the effort to conquer diabetes at the 45th Annual New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival (April 25-May 4, 2014).  Securing the pole position the flag flew as fans rocked and danced from Friday’s Santana’s show, andjazz fest 2014 Phish’s anthem “Down with Disease” on Saturday through Eric Clapton’s performance on Sunday to close out the first weekend.  The KTS flag continued to fly high through the second weekend from Thursday’s String Cheese Incident set, Friday’s Christina Aguilera performance, through Bruce Springsteen’s show to the largest crowds in Jazz Fest history on Saturday to the Sunday’s closing sets with Arcade Fire and Trombone Shorty.  Throughout Jazz Fest, people shared stories of loved ones suffering with diabetes, the need for a cure, and the Phase II Clinical Trials being led by Dr. Faustman and her team at MGH.
